MSP/ massive upgrade to my p5 coming soon

omfg, thats what i was thinking! mcdonalds! i was thinking about yellow or....black with white or yellow mazda logo! if i could pull it off and make it look good i believe that would be best
Black with a white "Mazda" logo would look quite nice I think.

I'm partial to MSP silver ...

^^^ How hard was the MSP brake conversion? I've always wanted to get the PG "big brake kit" but I've heard it's essentially the same thing. Did you think there was a noticeable difference?

Easy - The rotors / calipers are a direct bolt-on and yes, they do grab better. Speed bleeders make it a one man job.

Sorry to continue threadjacking... Is that really all that's needed? MSP calipers and rotors? Sounds like a really easy swap.

msp shifter/bushings/boot also ordered and on there way!

(getout)thread jackers!(whip)

jk, i have nothing better to do right now and im bored. Waiting for my friggin parts to come in

oooh, i know! ill ask another question! should i wait and install all parts in a couple of days, take off work and work on my car non stop. Or just install the parts as they come...im kinda thinking about all at once, it could be fun taking friday off work and wroking on my car ALL WEEKEND! what do you guys think?

Good call, I'm trying to determine whether it would be better to go with the MSP setup or the PG kit. Whichever is cheapest I suppose.

3rd gear is notoriously brittle....other than than you'll really want to look into a LSD and new clutch...not that the clutch won't hold the torque of low boost, but it will wear quicker...

True, My stock tranny held 22PSI but when I did a 1st through 4th gear burnout the clutch overheated and slipped!!

LSD is a definate go unless you like major tourque steer!!

LOL, We both live in WA where rain is a huge factor.........Torque steer in the rain is fun at times but mostly it is just a PITA!!

dang...thats hawt. yeah i plan on new clutch/lsd last. When i got most/all of it done, ill wait a while then get this stuff as well, i dont have THAT much money ;)
