Dude that is awsome that we have a Polish MSP out there. I am learning Slovak (my wife is from Slovakia) and could understand a little bit from your Polish Board link in your signature. Looks good man. Maybe next time I have a trip to the Tatras you could take vacation into SK. I am dying to be in a MSP on those roads! If we ever do move over there, the car comes with. Sorry I can't help you with those parts though. I had the 03.5 Mazdaspeed accessories instead of the Sparco stuff.
It looks like the leather grip has already slid down on it. That was a very common occurance. Just wanted to make sure you were ok with that. I can probably help out too, maybe I'll send it to my mother in law with a package and she can then mail it to you from SK. I'll look into more details on that.
If you really want that shift knob, send me a PM and we'll talk about it. I know when we send packages overseas it is about $40 for a med sized package. I wouldn't expect this one to cost that much, but I couldn't say until I got a quote for it first, but I am sure we could work this out. I talked to the wife and we weren't planning to send anything to her parents so I'd just send the knob straight to you.
Just FYI...not sure how much difference it is shipping overseas vs canada, but I just shipped a knob to canada for $3...I just made the box to the exact size of the knob...may not be as bad as you would think for something so small...
Damn, if you want the knob sans the leather period, I'd sell mine. Then again, it looks like crap. Sparco makes an exact replica of the one in our cars BUT it's a metal surround, not leather. Let me try to find the link...
Ok so it's slightly different but 75 bucks being brand new... if you want mine, I'll buy this one... lol
Thank for interesting, but I succes to buy sparco knob not same like orginal but also sparco for about 7$ whit shipping, and link to auction how it's look.
Because it makes each separate model "unique." Personally, I am curious why they would take an aftermarket brand out of the car, and replace with the OEM "Aftermarket" brand. If it says Sparco and it's covered under warranty with the car, people would love that better. Why do you think Scions sell so well and are tuned so often? Because you can "fix up" your Scion direct from the factory with warranty.
Yeah, if it were me back in 03 and Mazda tried to sell me a car with Mazdaspeed gear v. Sparco, I'm opting for Sparco. Though sometimes, I look at the 03.5's and think... "Damn, those versions just look way more sexy." Then I peek out onto the driveway, see that Spicy orange smile coming from #1660's front fascia, and I remember why I got the 03 version.
