Hey guys...hows it going....Wanted to know what is the oem exhaust system used in a MSP??

Yes, the stock exhaust is a double cat piece-o-crap.
Very restrictive. The second mod (way back when) was a catless mid-pipe, then a Tom's racing titanium (as in the metal) axle back.
It made a world of difference at 12-13PSI. Now I have the full 3'' GHL turbo back and a bigger/reworked turbo and a bad ring to go along with it LOL!
But hey 120,000 miles so I can't complain and a nice mid-pipe will give you a good boost in power.

Hasta-la-bye bye.

it does not use mazdaspeed exhaust system? Header & mufler??

same header i believe, and it's pretty much the same exhaust as the regular proteges until the axle-back. Then it's either a Racing Beat (as mentioned before) or the upgraded 'Mazdaspeed' axle-back. I have one if you want it, or want pics or whatever.

mazdaspeed muffler shots.

you can buy this one from me if you want it.

Any of you guys happen to have a picture of the undercarage of the MSP? Just want to compare with mine.

it's the same as a regular protege until the axle-back, but the MSP axle-back will still fit as a direct replacement.

edit: oh you have a ford...nvm
