Who is running a different turbo setup, and what kind are you running? How well is it working?

I only know of one person on here that was running a different turbo, but he sold his car...it was a t3 setup i think. I forgot what his screen name was...

It was the dude from Austin that sold it because it ran like ASS without emanage. He has an s2000 now with a big, jiggly,tity avatar to go with it (nana)

t3/04e hybrid setup. it didn't "run like ASS" but my stock T25 at a higher than stock boost level could pull on him.

Will the T28 turbo fit on our exhaust manifold? I am thinking about going with this set up after I get my exhaust which will be this upcoming week

That would be known as the disco potato. Ion is supposed to be releasing it soon for around 1700. The T28 has the same housing as a T25, just different turbo internals. Should be a good setup, but I think you should consider upgrading your internals, as well as fuel and engine management first.

Im gonna try to get fuel management and the T28 at the same time. As for internals I wont be needing them anytime soon once my car is tuned as long as I dont boost alot

Kelvin (SpaceMonkey) just told me there is a guy in Orlando with a Spicy MSP with a T28 & forged internals. It's supposedly being tuned with a piggyback & S-AFC by Titan Motorsports. He said he was going to post on here, but until I see it, I'm skeptical.

it should as long as i dont slick it and drop the clutch. Perf said the tranny is fine for poer, it is just doing stuff like dopping the clutch on race slicks that hurts it.

I will baby it for a while but most likely i will be looking for a tranny too!

Pic of the local MSP with T28 and extensive mods done to it (forged internals). Stereo and LCDs everywhere. He said the car is being tuned by Titan motorsports (supra specialist). Hopefully he'll show up on this forum...
This was awhile ago...and said hes done alot more since these pics. He said he lost the vinyl. But he promises me it should look diffrent.

Most likely it's some guy who REALLY KNOWS what he's doing and doesn't want to bother reading the SRI vs CAI debates over and over and over and over and doesn't need to bother with all the mis-information on the board... I say good fro him for doing things his own way!
