MSP compared to aftermarket turbos

I may be trying the J&S Safegaurd myself soon. We'll see.:D

The only thing is It only Retards Timing after it ping not before so you can still blow your motor.

BTW MSP do not have fuelcut at 10 PSI

. . . I want to blow my motor. sorry tool its called trying to tune a DBC's gain on a really cold night. You dont set the boost level you set a % from 0-100 so its kind of hit and miss same thing with the gain. Yeah i run 15 PSI now LOL. I decided to run 11 PSI to prove you wrong cause I care that much. Oh yeah the t25 are good till about 13 PSI. So "YORU" the idiot

You can accually program in active retardation so you can tell it to start retarding at preset levels. It also acts as a MSD unit so you get a better spark that more completely burns fuel. This is just to smooth things out a little until something better comes along.

oh is that a recent thing? My friend jeff had one when he had his civic about a year or two ago. Well hey its better than nothing

There is enough knowledge concering the E-Manage and or Apex'i S-AFC...Enough to know they don't work with the ECU.
To my knowledge the emanage will work on our cars:(
Why wouldnt it StuttersC?

I think the J&S coupled with your new exhaust, you can raise your boost to 9 or 10psi and you will be well within 190hp to the wheels.

yes some T25's are good to 13 psi like the ones in teh DSM's the T25 in the MSP is smaller than that. I'm not an idiot when it comes to turbos I just don't like to to unneccisay risks. Hell I was one of the first people on here to turbo a pro actually besides Terry I was the first. SO learn some history on the person before you call them an idiot....yeah i know i'm talign to myself here too sorry bout that i was a little TIpsy then and just had goten off work with a pissed off supervisor....again sorry bout that i can learn from my own behavior....but still like i said I wouldn't push that little turbo toomuch but thats me.

I thought fo rthe same reasons the Apex unit wouldn't...I could be wrong but no one has gotten one to work yet I thought.

Its cool dude. I have about 5 friends with silva motors and from reading on fresh alloy they say bout 13 PSI. Now i wouldnt even think about doing on that turbo. I have some things up my sleeve in the next month or two . . . well see where that takes me. or so Emanage Yes or no bout working with out cars (the MSP that is) I have a chance to buy one cheap?

EManagae possibly.....one way to find one for sure is to call up Greddy NA and ask them....they work on the Japanese Protege but the Familia is also OBD I not OBD III so there is no telling really.
