MSP Bumpsteer

I've owned my MSP for 3yrs and just recently have started to notice serious bumpsteer. I know the trucker ruts pull from side to side but this feels exagerated. I looked over the ball joints, tierod ends, lower controll arm bushings. Every thing looks tight and I know my swaybar bushings are shot. Those will be ordered this week. I don't see how the swaybar could affect the way vehicle tracks. Other than cornering senerios, but ill start swaybar since I know those are bad. Just curious if anybody has ran into this issue and could steer me into the right direction. Any feed back would be great.

I am experiencing the same problem and it only seems to get worse. Just the other day I driving down the freeway around 70-80mph and while holding the steering wheel as still as possible, the car will track from one side of the lane back to the other. It also seems to have a bit play before reacting to steering changes also. I am constantly checking tire pressure and tread depth bc that will cause some of the tracking, but they are always at or near the right pressure and my tire aren't completely worn yet.

Usually the tracking I find is from bad alignment, or alignment needed. I would go check it out and see how bad its off and see if that will fix it.

I think that the alignment could be an issue. Its just deceiving. On the right road it tracks great. That doesn't mean that the alignment is still good. I'm going to have alignment checked. I have to fix this its just frustrating.

I'm having this problem but also another and I think they're related. see my other post http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123731077. I recently took a second opinion on my other related problem and the guy said if you lower a car without doing it right it'll act as if it has alignment problems and eventually cause them too. This may apply to you also; he said that when you lower it you should wait until the car is sitting at its ride height before tightening the lower control arm ball joints? I think thats the part anyhow.
