msp build parts (preview!!....:)

If you are rebuilding, I would strongly suggest sending out your oil pump to DocB and haveing them rebuild it, and maybe even converting to a oil/pump system they are using.

I missed why you got rid of the MSP front lip? Were you just trying to go for a new look or something? The stock bumper with the fog deletes looks pretty sick but the lip gives the car a much more aggresive stance. Change is good though.

he wanted a more "sleeper" look

But dude, rebuild again? No!!!!! it sounded oh so good!!

I will find out today when I go to the shop, I'm charging my camera right now.

Luckily, I didn't put a hole in the block by having the car towed to the shop, which definitely saved the motor.

Wow man sad to hear what happened to your car, at least you wont be alone i need to open up my motor up to, to change my blown head gasket that was the cause of my car to keep overheating and asking for coolant averytime without having any leaks...

Well, as promised here are pics of the damage. This is what happens when you engine is poorly built.. Lost oil pressure bigtime and the engine started to die, luckily I shut the car off in time and didn't put a hole in the block.
AAA ftw:)

JE pistons and new bearings on the way

thanks for the heads up. this is why im really afraid to build my engine. i can afford to build it, i cant afford the down time, neither when building it or if it breaks.

Apex Automotive in wellington..don't go there LOL

I still recommend sending out you oil pump to DocB and haveing them rebuild it, this way you can count on your oil pump and know that it wont take a s*** on you. You want to take all the necessary steps to prevent this from ever happening again in the future.

what exactly do they do to the oil pump?

I changed out my oil pump to a higher flowing one I bought a while back. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt sending it to DocB though. As for warranty, NO shop will ever give you warranty on these types of things. At least that I know of.

Hopefully this time around these guys go out of their way to make sure the engine is done right and clearances are in order.

Sander, sorry to see that man. ******* clowns.

Yeah I hear ya but, there are plenty of built motors running around with no issues.

im sure that the DOCB oil pump flows more but guys i talked to a really good dodge mechanic and he said yeah that is cool and most of the FSDE motors blow because of oil starvation but if you upgrade the oil pumps the journey ways in the block are the same size so its not going to help that much unless you were to port those journey ways in the motor and that is theoretically impossible. but this was just his opinion, but it makes sense to me.
