Yesterday we had a storm roll through "bro"cal and my ms6 sat in the rain all night, so i go to unlock it this morning with the keyless entry button on the handle and it wasnt working!? So i go to use the other handle button and it works fine, i was just wondering if maybe somebody has had this same problem and can tell me if its something stupid or serious????

I've had the same issue after the first sub 30 degree weather up here. Drivers button wouldn't work, but pass and trunk were fine. That whole day it did not work. The next day I went to my car to test it and call the dealer for an appointment and it worked fine. Has worked everyday since. These keyless entry systems can be temperamental. If the problem persists its probably the sensor by that door needing some attention.

I think there was a TSB about the keyless sensor for the trunk having issues, so it's probably a similar thing (water getting into the system and causing shorts or weak connections). Not much you can do but take it apart and seal things up so water can't get in. If it persists, and you're under warranty, the dealership should be able to take care of it.

damn... mines acting up again. Last 2 days in a row the drivers door hasn't worked, and it throws me off everytime going to the car too. You get so used to just hittin that button and jumpin in, having to dig thru my pockets and find the key is just annoying! Well, gotta call the dealer to get it in, most likely the sensor but we'll see.

i had my driver side one replaced under warranty. it stopped working like you guys said, so i took it in and they saw that there was corrosion on the device.

JAZ, did you ever have any other porblems? I took my car into the dealer and they replaced the main sensor thinking that was the problem, but it still wouldn't work. I have to take my car back in again and they are going to check the wiring for a break somewhere.

Naaa man, after a couple days i think the sensor just dried off and it worked fine, & hasnt acted up since.......???

Yeap got the intermittent keyless entry too. If my door don't work I use the remote to unlock then it works fine after that.

Got mine all fixed up today. They replaced the main sensor and a bad wire connection somewhere (left the print out in the car, don't remember exactly what it said), so now its good to go.
