MS6: Exhaust Resonators

yeah the first time you do it, it is a pain. And the stock one sucks cause all the heat shielding and the fact it has to come out the top.

that was the hardest part.

FFS, why is nothing on the MS6 easy?
well, very few things... all i wanted was to remove a resonator for a nicer exhaust tone... but we dont HAVE them... FML.

that means i wont get a nice sound till i go full cbe and that'll be a long time from now. BOO

not really you can just remove the second cat and get a TP. it wont be loud but it will have a nice tone to it. i was running THE SU TP+ magnaflow cbe for a long time.

aye thats the plan... i dont smog for another 2-3 years i think? so i might go the TP route while i wait to save for the cbe.

You could remove the mufflers and replace with a straight pipe ?

Mmm i think that would just make it really loud, not necessarily just a tone change right?

Its actually not that loud. There are some youtube clips. I just visited youtube to find one and the new layout is quite . . . annoying . . . to say the least. Becoming more and more corporate everyday thanks to google.

theyre not loud at all.. and theres a set for sale here? and ill have my CS test pipe up for sale soon.. i just need to get off my ass and get my DP on.. get bob on it and we could knock it out soon?

No factory resonators for the Speed6 just catalytic converters. You can buy an after-market resonator though.
