MS6 ECU for MS3 motor?

(gah)Quick question...my engine blew and i got a 20k mile 09 mazdaspeed3 motor in my 06 mazdaspeed6..now im having issues with a CEL saying thats its running to rich...after about 3k rev the car starts like bucking like it might not be getting enough gas or to much...the engine seems fine cept for a small turbo leak...im thinking it might have to do with the ECU? maybe the mazdaspeed6 ecu has a dif ratio setting then the mazdaspeed3?...idk anyone have any idea what i might be talking about lol and am i right to think its the computer and if so should i get the ECU from the mazdaspeed3 to solve the issue?

just the drive train is the main difference. sounds like that leak boost air leak is causing a rich af.

dont use a mazdaspeed 3 ecu in a mazdaspeed 6. the ECU is what makes them different. speed 3 is expecting certain load values and it will be all out of whack in a speed 6. otherwise the engine should be the same between 3/6 (ecu being the difference)

right..

right but see my MS6 has a MS3 motor in it and it has a very small leak ..like barely noticable....and everything is perfect and its still running to rich...maybe the 09 motor has something dif in the ecu?

i dont think you are understanding what is being said above you.

the engine is identical. it is the exact same block.

the ecu (which you SHOULDN'T switch out) doesn't know the difference.

i was getting rich codes in my ms6 a long time ago, and it ended up being an o2 sensor..so you might want to check those too..

right i know the engines are the same...alright so scratch the computer having to do with anything i guess it could be an o2 sensor or the MAF? Both of those im sure would cause horrible gas mileage, when i step on it the slightest bit it'll began to hestiate and it'll backfire. so i guess now its just pick on and replace it ....any ideas which one i should replace first?

What do you mean by "a small turbo leak"? Dude, ANY "leak" is going to affect how the thing runs and the fuel mixture. What intake do you have on it? Sounds like the MAF is either really bad dirty, the air filter is clogged, or the "small turbo leak" is much bigger than you think.
