I have a 2006 Mazdaspeed 6 with 60k on it. The only mod to the car is a cobb stg1 setup. I'm getting a CEL with P0304 Cylinder No.4 misfire detected Flash / ON 1 or 2 Misfire as a code. I've already tried swapping the coils and sparkplugs and the CEL always comes back. Any ideas?

misfire comes back to cyl 4 or the cyl you move the coil ? check your plugs and could also be carbon build up. Does the misfire happen hot or cold ??

I brought the car into the dealership and they changed out the coils and spark plugs a week ago. The code came up 3 days after I left the dealership.

The code came up after randomly after I was driving for a bit so the car was warm. I'm not sure exactly when the misfire is occuring. I haven't tried swapping the coil in cylinder 4 yet. I will try it and if that doesn't work, I guess I should just bring it back to the stealership to see what they can do for me.

I have the same misfire on the #4 cylinder - but no check engine light.
I took my car in (2007 MSP6 GT w/ 27750 miles) because whenever I am driving with 1/4 to 1/2 throttle between 2100-2900rpm I get hesitation especially when the engine is loaded (like going up a hill). The power delivery is very jerky in that rpm range then it seemd to even out. If I accelerate hard it is jerky in the same rpm range but its not quite as noticable.
The dealer just reflashed my ECM (invoice says "completed recall 4907H) and noted that my number 4 cylinder had an intermittent misfire.
Not sure where to go from here.
I am thinking its something mechanical like an injector, plug, coil, etc.
Any thoughts??
