MS6 Air Box

On your website, it states that the Power Series air box only works on the 2006 Mazdaspeed 6. Is this still true? Can it be modified to work on a 2007 MS6?

As it is made of FRP, it can be modified by anyone with FRP fabrication skills, some resin and panel...or if you can source the earlier intercooler outlet pipe, it will fit. The issue is the 2007 model came with a much longer cast intercooler outlet pipe and it gets in the way of the box compared to the earlier design.

If we sold more of these I'd be inclined to design one for the 2007, but at this point the numbers just wouldn't justify it.

If I don't use the air box, do I need to worry about getting water in the intake with your Power Series intake system or is it isolated enough being up high?

It's fine, you have no need to worry about water in the filter. If you have water in our filter, you'd have water in the stock airbox.

Unless you go underwater dont worry.. Now if you had a CAI thats a different story
