Jesus, if my salesman was reading this he'd be licking his chops.

Can anyone who's put a deposit down confirm whether or not they've been given a delivery date?
I'm dying here...

MrDiggler said:I don't think anyone will be able to predict how the MS3 will sell yet. FWIW, the MSP received good reviews (and rave reviews for its handling), made the cover of magazines, etc., and yet it didn't sell quickly. In Jan. of '04 I just missed picking up the last new Spicy Orange MSP for 16k from a dealer in TX. I've heard from many MSP owners who picked up their cars new for between 16-17k.
I'm also very anxious to check out the MS3, but I'd kick myself for paying full price and then finding out that 6-12 mo. later you could get one for several thousand less. I guess we'll find out soon enough how it's going to play out.
Rainman said:I agree as well. I got my MSP at a relative bargain in 2003.5, but I paid full price for my MS6, paying for the privilege of being one of the first to drive it (always said I would NEVER do that...LOL). The MS3 is more of an unknown commodity. I would hate to have to pay full price for it only to find that it was drastically discounted a few months later. However, I don't want to wait only to find that there are none left because it turns out to be a hot-seller. I want this car too much to take chances I think.

I'll be shocked if they get to be more than 3 thousand off, but only time will tell. Maybe if they make some in Spicy Orange, they'll get that low.
