MS3 Sport stereo lights/beep deactivate?

My Sport was delivered without the stereo volume LEDs or beeps activated. The battery disconnect during my engine mount recall service seems to have reactivated them. I'd rather not have these annoying features. The battery disconnect didn't effect my trip computer hack though.

Any tricks to deactivate the lights/beeps?

Hey its a pretty simple fix to turn them off. You gotta push the button on the right below volume knob, You then keep pushing the knob to scroll through the different settings which has bass control, treble, fade etc etc. You then turn the button left or right which will turn off or turn up or down what feature your on.

That was easy. I have to learn to be more proactive and look into my owner's manual (I'm normally very good about that).
