ok, so i bought prosport gauges (boost ,air-fuel, and oil pressure). heres the problem. i dont know if i have everything i need.(they all came with the wires for power and coloring). the boost gauge came with a long thin plastic tube,a small cylinder thing with two ends for the tube to connect, and a small black electrical box. Is there anything else i need for that gauge? Air to fuel came with just the gauge?... and oil pressure came with a larger metal piece that has one side that screws in and one side that has two black tipped things coming out... sorry my descriptions suck balls but i figured if someone had installed these before they would know what im talking about.

but yea basically i need to know of any other parts i need to by (hose, wiring, etc) especially the air to fuel since it just came with the gauge and power wiring?
ALSO IF ANYONE HAS A WEBSITE OR POST THAT SHOWS STEP BY STEP DIRECTIONS TO INSTALLING ANY OF THESE THAT WOULD BE FANTASTIC!LOTS OF PICTURES WOULD HELP MY RETARDED SELF!

thanks for any help

Not sure about the Air-Fuel but the rest is correct. However you will need to relocate the Oil Pressure sender as there is no room to just screw that one in and go.

For the Oil Pressure you can check-out my DIY in the DIY section on how I relocated my Oil Pressure sender.

The boost gauge is very simple. The black thing with the wires mounts in your engine bay. The filter looking thing mounts between the black thing and your BPV.

To install the tube and stuff, you cut the plastic tube coming from the top of your BPV (the small one) and put in the plastic T. You then connect the two ends back together on the T and then the plastic tube you got connects to the remaining nipple and goes to the filter then then from the filter to the black box. Green wire goes to the gauge, black to any ground and done.

What type of pod do you plan to put in in?

PS: Here is the link to how I reloacted my Sender for the Oil Pressure Gauge http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123688232

ok cool thanks... im using the dash mounted gauge pod from mazda3online... i got it in a few days ago and it looks great and once i get it all installed it should be really good looking... i saw your set up and i really like it... if i wouldve known they had those pods i might have gone with them...

boost seems really easy and air to fuel is easy i found out because prosports air to fuel gauge isnt exactly a accurate gauge... it reads it but not that great... one of the wires just goes to ur stock 02 sensor and thats basically it...

im worried about the oil pressure cuz it seems a little more tricky/complicated... but your link seems really helpful so thanks alot man!

Right. The A/F gauge simply taps into the sensor. While it's not that accurate, you can still read it to make sure the engine is running lean or rich. It's not that big of a deal anyway.

If you can manage, post pictures of where the O2 sensor is? That would be helpful thanks!

PS, I'm using the same setup as you are heh. Will be doing this in December most likely.

yea realistically i just needed another gauge and decided to go with air to fuel because my car runs really rich and i would like to keep track of how it does... but yea the guy whos helping me install works for an exhaust center but does all kinds of electrical things so if i get a chance ill take a pic or message you the location....im putting it in this sunday, yea i like the dash setup

OK dog damn it ;) I have been here forever trying to find some one to tell me where to hook up the O2 sensor. The rest I can figure out:) I ended up getting the Digital AFR/Volt gauge. I guess I really should of gotten the exhaust temp for upping the boost when I can. But hell $118!

OH and I do have to say BOO on the CP-E standback, it's another Unichip TRASH BOX. Go with the MSD DIS2 it's a little cheaper and does more for tuning. Cause hell we already get 15 to 17 steady boost or I do with just a injen SP6062.
