I must say, I've gone thru this whole thread, and I haven't seen a better matched set of street wheels to the Mazda body design. It's the perfect compliment to the car.

Rotas look cool too and very aggressive, but these jell with the Speed body perfectly for the street, IMO.

The suspension shouldn't be strained at all. The hubs and all that remain in the same position and take the forces through the wheel which extends out from the car. The extra forces should be on the wheel not the hub and axels right? The hub hasn't moved and the geometry of the suspension hasn't changed. The wheel offset has.

bbrich57 is right - moving from the stock offset to a markedly less positive one will indeed put more stress on the hubs and will increase the scrub radius, which definitely will change steering feel.

That's exactly why I had to copy him! I really wanted some Advan T5's (too expensive) or ROTA Battles (discontinued), then I saw these and found someone selling them on another forum for a great price. I ended up selling my stock rims for more than the new wheels + getting my tires remounted and balanced. Can't beat that!

better question yet....where did you get your volk gtc's? those things are like 2g. did you get a discounted price somewhere? such a great wheel...id love them on my speed in bronze but for that price...ehhhhh.

Thanks man!
I always thought the GT-C was a classic wheel and I'm a little old school like that.
I got 'em from a place in California called vivdracing.com
They took about 16 weeks to get here and yeah, they were a pretty penny; About $750 each, but I always wanted a set of nice wheels, so it was worth it to me.

From the BBS line-up, I have to say that I personally like the LM-R series more...

... especially in the gray finish.

But anything BBS is good.

I wonder if Wheeldude can make these Linea Course wheels for a MS3 fitment, like in a 18x8.5

Are they a real 2-pc wheel? Or one w/phony bolts? If so they should be able to put the offset where it's needed (+50mm or better.) And a 5x114.3 (4.5") bolt circle is pretty std too.
If U gotz da $$$, I'm sure they can make you happy.
If a one-piece pretending to be a 2-pc, then who knows?
