MS3 Owners: Show us your wheels

thanks bro. I got H&R with stock struts still....(notcool) im considering to go coilovers or may be just upgrade it to performance struts koni like stiffer suspension set up or any suggestions which i best out there shld i get?. And yeah it rubs like a bbbiiiissshhhh lol especially if i got 3 ppl.

Rubbing in the back eh? Also, how's your inner wheel/tire to suspension clearance?

I was going to order a set of KW V2s or MS version KW3s (which ever I get the better deal on) to go with my set of 18x8.5 Rotas.

Rubbing

For all those people that ask if something is going to rub or not, I can tell you for certain that running even the RX-8 with 235/40 on stock suspension will rub sometimes. That's a 50mm offset, so just 3 less than stock, but a gain of 20mm in tire width.

Where does it rub and when?

I have answered it in other posts, but to make it clear, let me show you using one of PANDAnic17's pics. (If you don't want me to use this pic, let me know and I'll remove it.)

The tire rubs at 'B' on the fender at location 'A' during extreme compression of the suspension after extreme extension (such as going over a RR crossing or a frost heave). This is the only time it does it, never during regular driving.

So, if you are changing tire size or offset, you will rub during certain conditions. Add a suspension change and you will probably run during normal driving.

its fine bro... but going back to the topic, i started rolling my fenders from 10 o'clock position towards part A and B section and still rubs a bit especially on deep dip. i guess i have roll it a bit more.

You has your own fender roller?
