MS3 model/price

im going with the GT edition.if i need better sound i can always upgrade my ride.and i love HID's especially ones under warranty from the dealership.lol.i think its time to say bye bye to my msp and say hello to zoom-zoom!

Probably the Sport edition.

I like the HID's, but do not like leather, and do not want to pay extra for a stock stereo when I'll happily spend a few days putting my own in anyway. So, GT is not really what I want - what's the difference? $1800? That makes for a nice head unit & speakers; I can keep my 2 RF amps & sub.

I'll pay MSRP but no more. Plenty of dealers around anyway.. well, 3 mazdaspeed dealers reasonably close..

I just got the pricing sheet from the ford website.
The Ford's S plan is very closed to invoice.

Sport: 20,804/22,240 (S Plan/MSRP)
GT: 22,404/23,955

The price is pretty decent. I would never pay MSRP for any car i buy. If you guys want the pricing sheet toss me a PM i'll send it to you.

i'll probably go with the GT. even though i would prefer not to have leather, i really want HID. too bad you cant get the sport and just add HID as an option ><

I think the leather bolsters look cheap. I would much prefer cloth. The only thing I want from the gt is the led tail, hid's, and bose system, but I can live without all of them.

I think we need 2 threads though. 1 for regular 3's, the other for Mazdaspeed3's. This is the MS3 thread, but it kinds of got off track.

no idea on price. $500 down . Sunlight Silver Grand Touring with navigation. Am prolly getting close to MSRP out the door, based on conversations. 8-12 weeks to get it. It will be born in a few days.

I was just wondering if you guys would get the grand touring model for the MS3?

I would just get it because of the speaker upgrade.

Also, if you preorder your MS3 is there any hope of haggling the price?

Ford give discount to their business partners or affiliates a discount. I happens to work for a company that has business tied with them. The S plan is pretty much nothing more than invoice price of the car with no haggling.

Don't matter, it's up to the dealer to do it or not. I think I found one who will, if he doesn't back out first.

I've heard of dealers refusing to sell off their initial shipment (having few or none pre-sold) to other dealers that have pre sold all of theirs already and are still getting orders.

there is going to be one dealership in like montana or something with 6 of em just sitten there that they will sell off in 2 years for 16k just to get rid of them...

I have to take back what I posted earlier. You may be right at least on the MS3. This guy is a Mazda salesman in CT and his info has been good so far. I can just see him gloating now.

Just to let all potential buyers who are eligible for the S-Plan, Mazda just announced there will be no S-Plan or E-Plan offered for the Mazdaspeed3.

Hey CT, what dealership are you getting yours from? I'm from mass but am buying from Morande mazda in Manchester because of price. Dealer "said" he's giving me msrp on it. Couldn't get a clear price from any dealer in mass.
