I bought a 2008 MS3 recently and they came with some blacked-out rear tail lights (pics below). I'm not really digging them so I'm looking for a replacement LED tail lights. I've done some googling but I've only come across some Corksport Mazda 3 E-Specs. Anyone else have any recommendations?

i got my smoked led tail lights from these guys --> partplaza.net a year ago.

so far, so good. leds are not burned-out yet.

lol.. by how shiny they are, and the wetness on the ground, it looks like you dipped your wheels in crisco

I wonder if one of those headlight restoration products would get the coating off?

@charlessss Thanks. Favoring those as well.
@rmgedon69 Partplaza.net is not displaying any tail lights. Out of stock perhaps.

@rdaex. Yah, got a bit carried away. At least I don't have to clean them for another month :-)

Not sure how the headlight restoration products work but I don't think these can be removed using that since they painted the original lights.

Try removing the taillights and wet-sanding them (like 1000grit) and it should come off. Basically what those headlight restoration kits would do. I would try that before you buy anything.
