MS3 Jump

Oh no, it was stupid lol, I agree with ya on that one, I cringe each time I hear it land. I was just saying perhaps there's other reasons behind the whole shebang... I'm really surprised the city hasn't fixed it, you go to that intersection and it happens all the time. Someone is going to get hurt if they haven't already going through it, all it'll take is some idiot in a lifted truck in a hurry and... you get the idea.

i used to jump rxr tracks all the time...im my Ranger it was a 4x4 though, and it had good shocks. i paid for it and everything i modded it with...but i would never jump a MS3. stupid.

Isn't this the OPs car? Basically you are just trying to start an argument by showing an illegal street racing video of your car. Based on the rules for this site, I'd say that is grounds for being banned.

5. Posting threads and or replies which portray illegal racing of any form in a positive or entertaining manner is strictly prohibited.

11. The act of intentionally posting inflammatory threads or replies for no other purpose than inciting or provoking others, also known as "trolling", is strictly prohibited. Mazdas247.com has a zero tolerance policy towards trolling, meaning users who engage in such activity can be immediately and permanently banned without warning.

Hell no it wasn't me driving:, cmon would you do that to your car? I just thought you guys might wanna see it, being you know, it was an MS3. Then again maybe I should have posted a disclaimer for the sqeamish at the beginning. Sheesh when did Mazda group become full of douche's?

I've had my 08' speed3 since March 1st 2008, bought her brand new. I have 27k miles on her now, my car was in a video posted online jumping an intersection in March/April of 08', some of you may have seen it. She's modded but not heavily, so far she's been a great car. I've been to this site many times, figured it was time I joined...

I understand you might not have it anymore, but at one point it was your car and you are in fact the driver in the video.

Stupidity. I'm 27 years old and baby this car as much as possible cause I appreciate the fact that I have what I think is a nice car and want it to stay that way. At 19 years old, his parents probably paid for it which makes the matter even more infuriating. When you don't pay for something yourself you naturally feel less of a responsibilty. His parents are idiots to let him have this . I hope he rips his bumper off next time, at least teach him a lesson.

I object to this. I'm 19 years old myself. Bought the car a month before my 19th birthday. (So I was actually 18)

I put 2/3rds of the price in down payment and my parents loaned me the extra. I pay them monthly until the balance is gone. I work hard for my money and in turn, for my material things. I would NEVER EVER do this. EVER. I baby my car like you wouldn't even believe. Never raced, rarely above 4,000 RPM's. She gets 93 octane every time, and she will, regardless of how expensive it gets.

I would hope that people who do this kind of douchey thing are the exception rather than the rule.
:)

Nope I was not the driver dear sir,
Was the car owned by me? Yes
Did I jump it through an intersection? No
Was it incredibly stupid? Yes
Did I ever have any problems down the road for from said incident? No
Am I encouraging others to do it? No
Did I post it on here for your entertainment? Yes
Was the car bought by my parents lol? No

Fair enough. I can believe you. I can't believe you would let someone else do that to your car. Anyways, I guess I'm just trying to make the point that this site truly is more reserved and "douchey." Honestly, it is. Post that up on MSF and you are sure to get the reaction you are looking for. I think the vid is funny and entertaining--can't wait to see one of you jumping your MS6 on a snow bank! Sorry for coming across a little harsh and all before. Enjoy your car man!

Hahaha yeah... I used to let pretty much anyone take her for spin, learned my lesson when she came back once with 2 rims that were warped out of shape :( You couldn't see it but they were pretty much impossible to balance. So far I'm the only one who has driven the MS6 and I plan to keep it that way, even the girly can't take her out she's my baby

So you've proved my point, theres nothing to object. You are paying for the car and obviously have had some good upbringing. Because of that, you are more responsible than the average 18-19 year old driving an MS3.

No he didn't, mainly be cause he said I couldn't prove it was him as he wasn't the only person that had taken her out. I let another a guy drive to a town 2 hours away to visit some chick for $200. At the time I was struggling for money and would let some so called "friends" take my car out for a date or whatever they requested in exchange for some money. And it did cost me, wasn't worth it in the end. Luckily it didn't cost me more as it very well could have....

its funny how them so called friends swear it was them or cough up cash!

*hope he is a X friend now tho..

My cousin did something similar in his CRX> Bye Bye header, and hello cracked oil pan.

Yeah the guy that I'm pretty sure warped my rims was a complete jerk. Never had his own vehicles and borrowed from those he knew, not too long after borrowing my car he borrowed a buddy of mine's bike and ran from the cops, wrecked the bike trying to miss a cop car, and ran into a corn field where he was caught. Like you said some of us do stupid things when we're younger, especially when we've fallen on hard times. I needed the money and I whored out my car. Was just a stupid thing to do

You don't want an answer to this. Trust me, because many people will point to the release of the MS3. That's not me saying it. That's me repeating what I've heard from A LOT of long time Mazda owners.
