2008 MS3
Sorry for the repost, accidentally posted it earlier in the 2010+ area...

Well like it says, here is a link to a MS3 jumping in a intersection. Some have called it awesome, abuse, immature, crazy etc... regardless it happened. A 19 year old kid buys a new MS3 in 08 and see's a car accidentally get air in an intersection and the following happens. Figured you guys might want to see it

Stupidity. I'm 27 years old and baby this car as much as possible cause I appreciate the fact that I have what I think is a nice car and want it to stay that way. At 19 years old, his parents probably paid for it which makes the matter even more infuriating. When you don't pay for something yourself you naturally feel less of a responsibilty. His parents are idiots to let him have this . I hope he rips his bumper off next time, at least teach him a lesson.

hope he f*cks his car up completey, maybe mummy should by him a mustang, what a complete twat, people have done less and died.

yeap, ur right, his parents did buy him that. if he does some more stoopid and kills himself then they will have themselves to blame,

these cars are not to be toyed with....

i just hope he calms down....

Stupid.

There are a couple young guys that went to my shop asking if we would fix their car, and when we look at it, we can tell it was abused. We generally refuse to work on the car due to that. Likewise, several of members of a Mazda club in my area also have asked about repairs and I have seen posts on the local forum documenting the actions and we also refuse service to them as well.

good for u!

twats! this aint the dukes of hazzard.

Those kids should probably be driving something like an Evo or STI if they want to be jumping the car. MS3 was not made to be catching air!

Lulz

I am 50 years old an own a 2008.5 Ms3 with CBE and MSCAI and baby the car. I do not find this funny at all. The kid is a MORON and so are his parents if they bought it for him. My son is turnig 16 and wants to drive my car , it is way to much perfomance for him to handle by himself. My worst fear is that this MORON kills some innocent driver.

irresponsible and idiotic? yes. funny? As long as it isn't my car and no innocents got seriously hurt, yes.

More often than not, a 16yr old is going to abuse whatever vehicle they have to the point of it being dangerous/life threatening, regardless of if it's fast or not. I severely abused my first car, that I spent countless hours helping my old man build for me. Give a kid an old crx, a classic muscle car (sorry dad lol), a speed3...whatever for a first car...it's likely going to be abused. Only way to avoid that is to make them pay for everything. Even just making them pay for the repairs will settle them down...but not put an end to it entirely. my.02

Wow i can only imagine what damage that caused and i like how they just took there chance in speeding across an intersection hoping no one would be walking across or anything. Very unsafe and dumb.

I like how all the comments got removed that were not positive. What a tool. Probably will end up in a wreck, or back at Mazda for warranty work because of this crap.

I think it's interesting just how much hate people have for something they don't have any back story for (other than taking my word for it lol). For all anyone knows it's the new Travis Pastrana fresh out of rally school, could be a cop or citizen disgruntled with his city for building a dangerous intersection and wanted to point out it's flaws, could be a Marine who has been given a dangerous assignment that he probably won't come back from and is just completing his bucket list.
From what I know the MS3 in question was not originally bought by parents but by an active Marine, it went on to be heavily modified and was not ever abused in such a dangerous/immature way again and never actually had any problems. Ironically/sadly though the car was sold after a few years of ownership to a guy buying it for his sons 18th birthday, never heard bout the car again....

I don't get your point. Are you saying we should hold off on the negative comments because a marine or cop might have been driving? That would be even worse because those people are SUPPOSED to know what's right. If what you're saying is true, then it was eventually purchased by a parent for his son (DUMB). Maybe this was originally your car? I don't know, if it was I'm sorry it happened to be sold to such an idiot. And I don't think anyone on here has any hate in their comments towards this subject, we all just obviously see how stupid and dangerous this planned stunt was.
