Has anyone changed the backlight color for their mazdas from red to blue? If you did can u make a how to post.

I have a feeling that it would be very difficult. It's not red bulbs in there -- the gauge faces are actually red. You'd need to strip that paint off somehow.

It can be done, but it's very labor intensive. The ms3 has LED's, not bulbs, and there is soldering involved. Not worth the trouble imo.

Speedo only goes to 140mph. That's not a MS3

i like the slight mix on the stock cluster as is. i prefer red, it is the easiest color to have at night that doesn't make your eyes adjust all over the place. i'd much rather spend my time and money on something a bit more rewarding. blue looks neat though i guess.

Blue is actually a really bad idea, the human eye is least sensitive to blue & purple. Technically green is the best, as our eyes are very sensitive to that wavelength.

Really like the stock. The blue looks hard to read.

Unless you're red/green colorblind like me. I have to turn the backlight on the highest intensity to be able to read the red gauges in the daytime (notcool)
