popping off the stock mirror is a pain.

and also keep in mind you are goign to be paying $70+ for a piece of plastic that doesn't do anything

I thought it was made of REAL CB. $70 is over priced for a plastic item that is soo difficult to install. How did you remove the mirrior anyway? Did you just pull on it hard enough 'til it came off?.
If yes, how did you put it back on?.
Where did you get it?

nope, fake CF jsut liek the trim on my center dash, lol...your just paying for the mazdaspeed logo.

when you buy the mirror it comes with instructions. you have to jam a screwdriver into this slot and hit the mirror with a mallet. My car was like that. I'm sure the msp is like that too but on some mazda's the rear mirror comes off just by rotating it and pulling up.

when you put it back it slides right back in place.


i got mine in japan. In my thread titled "silver jdm mp5" or something in "photos and videos" there is a link to a US mazda rx7 site that has them.

i emailed corksport about the JDM rear cupholders, but they never got back to me (as usual, as it seems in my case). maybe you can shed more light on it? thanks.

i got mine straight in japan

theMan of protegeclub.com got the JDM rear cupholders.

he said you could order them through dealers in canada. total cost is about $50.

i do it because it's very subtle and makes the car look stock.

instead of throwing huge wings, aggressive body kits, and giant decals which will let people know you have mods, i do mods that only protege5 lovers would recognize.

i dont want attention on my ride, in so. california...especially in my area..the cops will bust ya eventually for even the smallest illegal thing.

The US is probably most responsable for the putting of LED's in everything from washer lights to tail pipes. Well that and the inabilty to realize that altezza don't look good on every car.
