Got this today, followed the directions and to my surprise not one water spot. This truely is a product that works. BUT the filter's that come with it say it will only last for 3 washes. The amount of soap provided seems low too. Going to have to order lots of soap and filters. :D

do stores carry the filter/soap yet? that was one thing holding me back, having to order it directly from mr. clean

yeah some guys tried this out over on the SRT forums and they said it really works good. I think I'm gonna try it out too once the weather warms up.

Soap is the issue and filters. I wasn't looking for them today but according to the manual it says places that carry the system should have the refills too.

18$ with 2 filters and starter soap as well as the device.

target has the refills.

I don't care about the soap. I like the fact that it removes minerals from water. Minerals are what cause water spots. Distilled water doesn't have any minerals but i don't wanna buy distilled water just to rinse the car.

I was interested in this when I first heard about it a few weeks ago. So is everything available at Target? My car needs a bath really bad & if they have it, I'll go grab a set.

how hard is it to dry a car using a chamois ?
I don't get the point of this Mr Clean stuff.
My $0.02.

Maybe you're a professional detailer, but personally I end up with water spots EVERY time. The Mr. Clean Auto Wash filters the water so that you don't get water spots & you don't have to spend an hour drying your car (maybe I'm the only one takes that long  ).

I just bought my mr clean washer and used it on my 3 (which is mica black!!!) and it worked great, you can watch the ater bead right off, the best $20 bucks i spent, the cool thing is that the gun thing barely use the soap, but the bad thing is that the filter is used up really fast, it says 3 washs, more like 1 and a half, but the water in orange county is harder than janet jacksons tit on super bowl sunday
shag :D

Used my mr clean washer on my Yukon this evening and it worked pretty well, no water spots that is. Only had to wipe down the chrome when it was all over. Seems like it will be more beneficial during the summer months when it's like 110 outside. It'll save me from having to rush around like a madman to dry it before the water spots appear. I think that it really is only beneficial for the quick washes and not for the complete detail.

california water blade....... and a nice chamois

Amen. The water blade is amazing. One swipe and you have a perfectly dry surface. I only use the chamois for areas impossible to reach with the blade.
