MPT (Miles Per Tank)

i get about 360 a tank in houston traffic with ac on and auto with lead foot. intake didnt do anything

Average 32+/tank.
90% road at 65-75 mph.
Last tank 458 mi/14.15 gal.

I usually get 455-480/tank/14.1-14.7 gals, regardless of weather/outside temp. I keep a running record of fuel use to 100th/gal and I don't spare the loud pedal.

OTOH, my wife's '03.5 ES average 27+ to 30, with 80% of her driving in town @ 45-50, and lotsa starts 'n' stops--a real mileage killer.

i never let my gas get below a 1/4 tank. at the lowest, the light will come on. (around 1/8 tank) once i was below e, because there were no gas stations nearby. i still only put 12.9 gallons in it. i cannot imagine how low you got to be to put over 14 gallons in a 14.5 gallon tank.

I've put as much as 14.8 into the tank. Tank capacity doesn't include filler neck which should hold almost another gallon. Reserve should be at least one gallon when light goes on. BTW, when the low fuel light comes on, I can usually run another 35-40 miles; I run below empty quite a bit, but there are gas stations nearby.

Same here, my light comes on occasionally and I can go about another 30 to 40 miles.
