I still have problems with my turbo module...its working now...but as soon as the module switches to ON, my water temp gauge will start to raise up to TOP...

...looks like this is normal...we are good to go, the turbo module is working (yippy)

Mine doesn't do that! How are you guy's having so much trouble with it? I can see the difference it made on mine. I had 120's and up on the extra injectors at WOT before the module and now I'm at 60's or so. I still use more injectors at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, but not as much.

If you are talking about the temp guage..in the gauge cluster.

Than yes..mine does the same thing. Nick says it's normal b/c we are adjusting what the ecu see's.

Extra Injectors > OBDII

sweet.. right now i have some # in WOT around 130. I need to get that module, and have my stock injectors dump more fuel.

The temp issue sounds like the gauge is wired after the MPI so it is getting a flase reading.

Is your gauge reading higher than normal at idle?

I drove up to my friends in the mts the other day and when I got to his house my gauge started climbing past the half way mark that it usually sits at and went to 3/4 before I shut it off. The coolant was boiling in the reservoir, and everything seemed very hot. I had no issues at all on the way home.

Fast forward to today...

I switched the red wire for the turbo module and reset the PCM. I then started up the car and switched all of the numbers in the analog and injection maps to zero. I then reset the PCM again, and started it up to idle for a little bit. My idle is at about 2500, and if I blip the throttle it will take forever to come down after climbing. My temp gauge immediately went to halfway and then started to climb up to 3/4 again. I shut down the motor, and felt the upper coolant hose (very hot), radiator cap (pretty cool), and heatshield (very hot).

I was convinced that the gauge was reading correctly and the car was overheating. Now I am not so sure.

Check your coolant level in the resevoir. Then check the coolant level in the radiator. Let us know what you find. What color is your coolant?

Coolant level is full in both the radiator and the reservoir. It is a darkish looking green color. I had the radiator flushed at the dealership about 1k miles ago.

The reservoir should only be filled where the FULL mark is.

Sometimes, when driving around for long, you will see that the reservoir has more water (up to the top and VERY HOT!!!)

...or even reach the LOW mark...

Both situations are normal.

Looks like the A/F is now more steady than before. I didnt had to change the map at all. Im running 8:1 FMU and all the boxes filled with 2's and 1's and thats it. The car runs a lot smoother now with the Turbo Module...there is no power surge, its more linear and also runs cooler on WOT.

FM O2 modifier is finally out.

I agree, my AFR was much steadier at idle with the new wiring of the turbo module. If I could just figure out what's up with the crazy temp readings I could get back to tuning.

I am almost certain that I know what's up now(thanks a lot Pat).

I have never got my AFR on the software to work, and Pat pointed out to me that I put the mpi brown/black on the wrong wire... the coolant temp sensor wire, lol. I guess the new spot that I put it today made the PCM get a false reading. I will be switching that tomorrow and hopefully all of my issues will now be gone.:)

Good catch there Linux!!!! You need to make sure that you hook the wires up EXACTLY like the instuctions say, except the red one.

I havn't looked at my stock temp gauge to see if it moves, I watch the autometer one and it stays the same. I'm making a trip to MPI today and will watch it to see if my stock one moves.
