MPI Tuner Library

I will put my maps out here soon! I lowered my Analong AMP scale to read all .80's after I reset my ECU again this morning after re-soldering the power wires to the MPI Tuner. Cold solder joints will own you!

Tech Note:

1 degree of retard = loose ~5HP

Example: you put 3 degree retard on the base map and also put 3 degrees of boost retard on the AMP = loose ~30HP

We should leave HIGH rpms on max 1 or 2 degree retard and optimize it with boost retard.

This is only a thought, what *I think.

You need to get Dean's latest maps. . .he's probably closer. But 505's would be good too.

Share the info people!

Sorry guys, I'm having trouble getting my maps online because I use a mac G4 for internet and it doesn't recognize the files. My VAIO that I use in the car is stripped of all software besides the OS and the MPI stuff, so I can't go online with that computer. Anyone have any ideas? I might have to just take a pic of the screens with my digicam and post them that way.

Yeah..i know a simple way!

first load up the mpi tuner software..with your maps..

Than hold down alt+printscrn

than open up..ms paint..and paste it in there..than save as a jpg

and upload!

Chas has a P5 so you could use his maps. Nick tuned them so they are good, he just doesn't have the extra injectors, so you would have to tune for them.

Here's mine:

505---looks like you don't have very much xtra injectors coming on, you don't need that much fuel??? I have been playing with mine and I'm in the 70's or so and around the 50's at WOT. Not finished with the map yet so when it's done I'll post it.

Tim, don't forget that is a MSP. . .so it already "knows" about boost. . .so our numbers will be much higher than his.

When I turn the injectors up over 10 it goes off the charts rich on my setup. Not sure why we have such a big difference. I am still only running 10psi though, stock T-25.

Here is what my maps look like after some fine tuning today, and a little bit of time spent on the sensor calibration:

I am hoping to get back on the dyno soon. Maybe this week. (evil)

That's what I was thinking.

(hand) That's right, damn those MSP's!!!! That's pretty big difference in fuel, but I gues the size of the turbo's, intercooler's and exhaust make it different also. Keep up the good work 505zoom

how much time you think it will take to tune my p5 with a w/b and stock injectors at like 8-9psi?

i need to pay someone to show me EXACTLY what settings to use at that psi :)
