MPI Tuner for... NA?

The Accusump system has been discussed. The main problem with the Proteges is mounting. There isn't much room in the engine bay for the canister to be mounted.
There is room for it...you just have to do a good job.

You can also get smaller size tanks
I know that the TriPoint Mazda6 uses a 3qt Accusump system until they get the dry sump developed, but they have better mounting options than we do. I just need to see more info that the 1qt size would be enough to cover us.

Ok...back on topic

Very true. Ok...question on the MPI. I have the MP3 ECU in my Pro5. Will the MPI adjust the timing enough on the stock Protege5 ECU to negate me having the MP3 ECU for the advanced timing or should I keep the MP3 ECU and work the MPI with it?

Yes you can, you can do it better, because you can add any timing advance or retard ANYWHERE on the rpm band plus you can add/retard based on other conditions like LOAD, TEMP, RPM, THROTTLE POSITION, etc.
