Mpg?

My first fill up after I purchased the 6 was after 416 miles. When I topped it off it said 501 miles to empty. Now I have about 1200 miles and I just topped it off and it says 391 miles to empty. I recall the last top off was 400+ miles to empty. What gives? Did it learn my driving habits? As the years go by, will the MPG get worse? 501 miles until empty didn't make sense when I say it, I was just stoked. Any answers?

Similar thing happened to me. 400+ on first tank. At first fill up it was in the high 300s. I think it uses your average mpg to determine what you might get out of the next tank. Makes sense if most of your miles on the first tank were highway and most of the second were street.
