damn you might have your car up and running before me..

It will take me 4 Hours to install it, 6 to wire it up and (unfortunately) I still need to fabricate 2 welds for the downpipe... which is on someone else's time frame.
 
I already feel sympathetic for the wiring challenge that awaits you. Regardless of how smooth it goes, it still has to be done.

I'm very interested to hear your personal opinion on how the larger throttle body changes the feel of the engine. Its something I've been thinking about doing when I go haltech

Kyle and Steve helped with the engine assembly and install today.

The Rad Fits.. The Rad Fan Shroud will not.

of course after you have it up and running...sucks the shroud doesnt fit. any way that you can cut out the sheet metal on the shroud where the compressor housing will be touching or is the fan also going to hit? jealous of those pauters btw

Fuck it... It isn't an issue... I will just do something else...

Compared to most of the things I have done and need to worry about still, lol... the effin' fan is a zero point zero on my give a fuck list.

This got to be the Sickest, most insane and intense FS Build ever on this forum and i believe on the planet. Brian what you have done to your Mazda Protege 5 is simply amazing. I wish my Mazda was built like yours, ill be happy to have 10% of it.. We all learn new things from your thread everyday, good luck reaching your goal....


BTW whats the part number on that nice BBK TB ? how do you make this work since it doesnt have any sensor on it ? Was it just plug and play to the 505zoom IM or you had to do anything to it ? did it came with that TB gasket ? What are the real benefits on running this TB next to the OEM one, thanks in advance..

The TB is a
[h=1]BBK Performance 1652 65mm Power Plus Throttle Body Ford Mustang 01-04
[/h]It is not Bolt On (Requires new holes drilled)
It requires a main 65mm Hole
It requires a Mustang TPS (Will not work with Mazda ECU)
