You do realize factory torque to yeild bolts are superior to studs right?

(gossip)

Share Wizdom...

Why is it then that Drag Cars/Formula 1/Nascar... dont run bolts?

you just named everyone that had blocks designed for the use of studs.

I want to believe you that it makes a diference... So enlighten me, I'm ignorant to the information you have...

check out the thread cost of bottom end in F/I... page 3-6 it was discussed pretty well.

I had a look and saw noting to prove or disprove your point. Basically the opinion is what was discussed with no real fact, just suposition...

soo, zoomzoom, your saying with stock bolts and a good gasket we should be fine right? the cometics or something else you recommend? I heard the copper one isn't really all that good either

Copper requires a groove in the deck...

It doesn't get any much better than the stock headgasket. And I know so many people that hate headstuds it's not even funny. To add to that I have never seen or heard of anyone blowing a headgasket on a 2.0l, which I can't say for many motors.

I just don't like people saying headstuds are superior, because, well, there not.
