Oooh. Socket cap screws. =) Do you have one for the middle of the valve cover on the far left? I think that's the only one that's not M6x1x25mm, if memory serves. Those polished stock washers, too? Blingarific. =) If you were super cool, you'd get 'releived' washers with countersunk socket cap screws. ;)

Brian. Have your machinist radius the valve reliefs on the pistons. It's a simple and cheap modification to have done... and is one more step to ensure against detonation!

I had read that on your rebuild. I will. Thanks :)

I want to use the '99-00 coil packs. They seem less... Volatile... Than the stock ones. =) That's cool, though, brian! What are the sizes of the odd-shaped one, so I can order one? It's the only valve cover bolt I havn't changed. Hehee.

You gonna buff the tops of those pistons matte to take off the CNC marks? =)

Turf Suggested that the rough edges be removed. I'm lookinng into the cost but have decided to do it regardless of cost. Will buff at the same time.

Pictures of a Mirror Piston Top pending...

Just checking in to see the progress being made here.

It's coming along well. Polished the tops of the pistons with a light compound and a soft cloth. Most of the CNC rings are gone on the top of the piston. It looks like a mirror now. I'll fire up some more pictures later...
