MP3Night Turbo Build

Did both and still having a idle problem, all vac leaks gone. Should I give it a shot with cleaning the egr? Should I get colder plugs? Should I move the bov on the hot side???? I have no clue what to do next without wasting time. Help!!

Damn dude car is looking good! Just went through you build and I'm jealous. I want to start working on mine so bad, but need to stay patient like you managed to do.

Sucks you having problems at the moment, but just keep it up. I'm sure it will all pay off in the end.

EDIT: Wish I could help man, but I don't know the first thing about cars. :( GL

Thanks man. glad to hear that, i've put a ton of hours into this build.
lol yeah 3000 bucks later and i'm having a problem, but looks like a lot of msp's have had this problem i'm having. i'm sure i'll figure it out, when i get it all worked out i'll be able to clean my engine bay up...its getting messy

you bought new plug wires already?

no just new coils and coil plugs.

I ordered some new ones, but it was just the one coil that was sparking around it
But that would cause it to die like that? or could be a plausible cause

it could be a cause, these cars are so hard to figure out, just make sure you go over everything 3-4 times before you rule it out
i had a stumbling issue for a while, turned out to be a loose bolt on my intake mani
found that out after i dropped 500 bucks in new parts/sensors

I'll try checking the intake mani tomorrow to make sure everything is bolted down and my check engine light was off for a bit and came back so I dont know what the hell thats about. Might rent a scanner or try to drive it up to a auto store (probably a bad idea though)
Nothing was wrong with it a week and half back then it started having this problem after the boiling coolant then just turned of in mid test drive. Haven't had a problem with the boiling coolant again after changing the mix, but now the idle thing...its just a really big pain! I'm going track all the vac lines and everything possible that could leak tomorrow.

3rd video Got it to idle in this one because I reseted the ecu and reloaded the supermap

in the video I'm missing a mani bolt and that happen this morning, so this isn't the problem. Also I'm moving around a lot in this video...it even made me a little dizzy watching it lol sorry

Well don't know how I did it, but the car is idling pretty good. But wait the boiling coolant has not gone away lol. I'm going to try and replace the rad cap and thermostat, if that doesn't work then headgasket here I come. By the way the car feels amazing (Now I see what all this rave is about boost) and that was only 6psi

the boiling coolant could also be something as simple as a leaky line as well.

just curious, what is your oil temp once the car is warmed up?

New part!!

Well took the car for a drive today and it did pretty good ( definitely felt really nice to drive it again:) Well I flushed my system and its clear its my water pump or rad because as long as I don't go into boost my coolant does't overheat and boil. So I'll be changing the water pump tomorrow after work like I should have a long time ago. Also the idle gets better the longer I drive the car.
