MP3 Question

I know this has been hashed out already, but I still am not sure of the answer.

I have the GT model with Navi, Sirius, and 6-Disk CD Bose system (no rear entertainment)

Is there any way to get my Zune to play through the system?

I'd appreciate any reply from someone who has set this up.

Can't you just hook it up into the AUX jack in the center console? FYI you might need a ground loop isolator in line with the zune if you used the 3.5mm head phone jack.

There is a switching unit that is needed. Just not sure if anyone has gotten it to work with the options that I have.

It will absolutely work, but you do need that Mazda switchbox installed. See this thread:

ok, you want it to work through thr touch screen. like said before the mazda switch box should work.

It doesn't have anything to do with the touchscreen. The AUX port is disabled when you install Sirius, so it doesn't work at all for him right now. All the switchbox does is re-enable that AUX port, so when he presses the MEDIA button it will once again work for that jack, and the Sirius & nav voice will all still work as before. Nothing will be shown on screen throughout.

Strange then. I have read other posts in different areas where people have the Sirius and aux both working from stock. Myself I will go with the XM setup at crutchfield soon. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
