MP3 player/phone mounting ideas

Hey everyone, trying to find a decent idea of how to mount my iPod in my 2. Will be using the lighter port forncharging and the aux for the audio. So I was planning on mounting the iPod somehow to the rectangle storage area by the shifter.

Anybody have a decent setup they could share?

I honestly just have my shoved in there. Loose, so I can pick it up and change songs whenever I feel like it.

Well I even don't know how to mount my I pod to my phone device. It's not possible at first attempt. You need video tutorials to study and install this device. The charging should be done properly and it should be light in weight.

Those look nice, but $30 base plus a $30-40 device holder is waaaayyy too much imo.

Me too. I have a silicone sleeve on my iPod Classic so I don't worry about bumping it around if it decides to evacuate the shallow bin (done it several times on good hard corners) and it sits perfectly in there.

Personally window mounting it just below rear view mirror is the best option for me. I can change songs, do things without looking down or off the road.
