Tell us more about this deal, please. Tri-Point web site doesn't admit to any such thing. This is getting into the right price range.

I was dealing with Nicole Nagler. She was really helpful. I was getting the CD-Changer model that does not work with the trip computer and she switched it for the right one. Mazda has 4 different models of MP3/CD Changers: BS0A79EGX, BS0B79EGX, BS0C79EGX and BS0D79EGX. The BS0D79EGX is the one that works with Bose and with the trip computer. Here is the contact info. I hope she does not mind since this means more business:

Does it play any other file types? (Like .wma)

I do not know. I have no CDs with .wma files or any other types besides .mp3. But it is worth trying. I will let you know as soon as I find out.

Considering the cost of an Ipod, and the connectors required to make it work with the stock stereo controls, this seems about equal. Thanks for the information.
