mp3 for sale in northeast? can local give me a ride?

i'm looking into nice handling cars (sub-$13k range) to replace my car. so far the list is: mp3, protege5, and subaru 2.5rs. are there any mp3 owners who could give me a ride in their car? strange request, yes, but mp3's are quite hard to find for sale in the nj area. i'd like to get a feel for how the mp3 moves versus the other cars so i can choose which to purchase.

most importantly, are there any blue mp3 owners within a 6hr drive of central nj who are considering selling their car? please only non-modified and non-raced cars!

Umm. I know of only one non-modified mp3 in central NJ. I'm waaay too modified to even consider, and I don't want to get rid of my car yet.

a stock msp should be fine since i understand the suspension is almost identical.

actually, i'd love to check out a p5 too. i mountain bike frequently and would have to put a bike rack on the mp3, but not a p5. i think i'll want the power/suspension of the mp3, but if the protege5 is suitable then it is more practical than the mp3. please pm your address and hopefully we can meet!

I saw one for sale @ North Penn Mazda (PA) with 38k miles and looked relatively stock. they were asking $12,900. I don't think that's too far from where you are (right off the PA turnpike and up 309)

eh, I bought a house and put off payments on the car to do so; my rents were in the process of taking out a home equity loan, and were nice enough to take out addn'l money to pay off my car loan. they paid that off in full, and now I just owe them. Unfortunatley, I haven't made a full payment in about a year and a half - just some money here and there when Ican spare it...sooooo, I'll be keeping it for some time to come, or at least until I'm not upside down on value vs. what I owe... (my plans were to be able to be fine with both the car and the house, but then a lawsuit with the former owner over some non-disclosure issues, kept me from having a roomate because the bathroom that would be needed wasn't functional, that took about 8 mos, then the gfriend didn't want me renting out the other room, like I had planned because it was so nice to finally have a place without roommates, yada yada yada, some of you guys will know what I'm talking about, the rest is history) wow, sorry for the ramble...
Then again, I'm not that bad off..,I'd let mine go for 11k in a heartbeat.
I'm looking to lease a bit of a nicer car since my commute is all of 3 miles, and I have a car for the winter...this is what I have my eye on (yes, that is stock)

nope; 49k miles actually...but one with 39 and not as nice is going for $12,900, and I don't need to sell...so. if it sells it sells, if it doesn't, I drive it
