Mountain driving, and what I like and don't like about my 2

Hey everyone. I went on a drive through the mountains this past weekend and while driving I figured that on the video I would talk about what I like and don't like about the 2. The road was a ton of fun. The 2 took it like a champ.

Haha. I watched for like 3 minutes before reading the video description. My jaw was hanging open and I was thinking, "That dude is ROOOLLLIN' up that mountain!" Then I realized it was sped up for length.

The length was part of it. It was also because I don't want to show myself driving hard on the street on the internet. This way you can't tell the speed or hear tires.

Are you planning to use the Koni yellows with stock springs, or do you have something else in mind?

Did you just stay in 2nd for the entire drive?

Some the straights which were long I would shift to 3rd. Shorter ones I would just lift at about 6K and coast for a bit. Not worth shifting to 3rd for 1-2 seconds then back down two 2nd.

When I get the koni's I am going to buy another set of front struts to swap them into and cut off the factory spring purch and weld on a plate to hold ground controls. For the rear I am going to get some CG as well. For the spring rates I am probably going to double the front and the rear, then see how the car is and make adjustments from there.
