They put 37K miles on it in total over 15 months so unless all of the winter driving was done in the last 7K miles then I would have to think they drove in some snow with the Duelers. Anything is possible I suppose.

It depends whether is was snow or ice. The duellers are "ok" in deep snow. It's when the there is packed ice under the snow that the problems begin. Motortrend aside, the CX-9 is great in the snow/ice with the right tire.
