Motor Mounts And Vibration

I'm about to replace the stock motor mounts with the AWR ones, since I'm pretty sure at least the front or rear is shot. I've read about how people have been complaning of the severe vibriation when they replace the rear mount with the stiffer ones. Is this just a personal anoyance, or could it lead to damaging other parts of the car from the vibrations? The car isn't used as a daily driver, so I'm not too worried if its just a personal problem.

if anything it will help the car. less wheelhop will help save the lsd from breaking. less engine movement will keep the exhaust from cracking, etc.

Go with the SLS mounts. They offer the best of both worlds. Alot of people have switched from AWR's to SLS mounts and love them.

i have zero complaints with my awr front motor mount and awr side mount inserts.
Mine was great when it was just those. Then I added the rear.

i was thinking of changing out atleat the rear motor mount. is it really that bad? and yes it is a daily driver. Of course I am use to vibrations and every single annoyance sense I drove a sueped up Honda CRX for 2 1/2 years.

I'd go with the whole package if your going to do the rear.

You would probably actually have more vibration from using the rear alone.

The sides and front should reduce it a bit. It's not too bad with all of em, but you get stuff buzzing and shaking that didn't before.

i wonder how the rr racing rear inserts will be compared to a solid rear mount. i imagine it wont vibrate as much as a solid rear mount would.

i have the sls mounts and there is some vibration but its just a personnel inconvienience. They are amazing so its a must

i threw in the SU front and rear mounts with the AWR side inserts all at once. the vibration is definitely noticeable, but it's nothing i don't mind putting up with as a daily driver. the car feels tighter, and i feel good knowing i'm not putting added stress on the LSD or any part of the turbo/exhaust.

I have the AWR "Auto" Front and Rear MM and I won't go back to stock. It's a little more vibration but its ONLY when your NOT movin'!!!(drive2)

my car vibrates alot, specially when the A/C is on

but while cruising is like if it was on stock mounts.

is a trade off like many have said..

well worth it. i actually kinda like the vibration, at stoplights i can pretend i have a V8 :) haha

I have the AWR front and sides in as of two days ago..i love them, vibrates only when stopped. The gains really offset the messager. it makes it into a tottaly different machine if you ask me

is ok that I keep the sides stock? how hard is the install

Either you will hate them or Love them..

The first time you start the car you will say.. WTF have I Done...

Then you will Accelerate without Wheel hop and you will say, It's not that bad..
