Motor Mount Inserts?

When I was into the engine mount thing I got the RR-Insert but they send me the wrong one (found that later). Anyways, I asked Mazda to change the front mount and put in the insert. They couldn't put the insert in but they changed the mount under warranty :) Result: well, it's a lot stiffer. Very little wheel hop, and only on the wet (sometimes). There is slightly more vivration than before though the steering, shifter and the seat. So, Mazda has stiffer mounts. Before that it was wheel hop city!

Are you saying you can get stiffer mounts from the dealer?

Apparently yes, at least that's what I got. There is a noticable difference between "Before" and "After" the install, to the point that I never bothered getting inserts or anything else afterwards. Keep in mind that, sometimes, I launch very hard! :D

How long have you had these new mounts? I could see this being an issue of needing to be broken in or something, then bam back to the wheel hop.

Dude thats exactly it. They are stiff when brand spanking new, but that wont last. There is NO new part number for the mounts so they put in the same part they removed, only a new one.
