most psi on stock motor

what is the most i can run on a stock motor for my msp with out blowing it up.

depends on the condition of your motor and supporting mods...

however, most will agree 10psi is the extreme max with supporting mods (CAI, exhaust, etc.) and no forged internalsor EMS...

anything above and youre counting on a prayer and a dream for daily reliability. "Go forged, or go home"

I wouldn't go any higher than 8 psi if you aren't tuning with anything. I'm at 10 psi and am tuned to AFRs of about 11.5:1 throughout.

mhmm me personally im proabbly going to end up at 12 with a j&s. right now im running 8 with 626 mani,nsn spacer,custom fmic, custom sri,apexr1 2.5" midpipe, apexr1 3" catback, ss afc on the supermap. this will change this weekend as i will be installing my new wideband and 3" apexr1 j&mid. after that install it will go back up to 10 and get street tuned

around 8-9 psi should be OK for street/daily driver. anything above and for autocross/track/racing i would get engine management and tune.
