Most likely Main Relay?

Hey folks my MSP won't turn over.
What recently happen was one of my coil pack connector wires, was frail and broken off so I ordered a new connector with plenty of slack and once the wires are together I can could connect it to my coil pack.

Unfortunately, during the mean time I tried to fix the old connector wires but I guess it was a sloppy job, the wires could be touching one or another, I plugged it in the car worked for 15sec and then shut off.

When I turn the car to ON (battery) I noticed my temperature gauge shoots straight up to HOT, from there I assumed it was an electrical problem. I then did some research it points to me that the main relay could be blown.

~$30 bucks to replace its gonna be another wait because most the auto stores have to order it

Do you think it could be anything else? Because I did pull the relay out and powered on the car and the temperature gauge still shot up to HOT.
Anyway check it with a cheap multimeter?

Check all the other fuses while you are in there. And usually it's the main fuse not the main relay, or the engine fuse inside the car.

Thanks ! I purchased a test light/probe with light/sound for $20. Tested each left and right on each fuse in the fuse box and inside cabin fuse box, I found out it was 10A Engine Fuse.
I added my new connector and new fuse but it still ran rough. I believe one of the ignition coil was gone. After 30 sec. I felt both ignition coil and the right one was really hot!
I went to AutoZone and replaced it with my warranty, and also purchased a new $30 wire set for $30.
My new spark plugs are in with proper gap, 1 new wire and 1 new ignition coil and my new ignition coil connector is connected properly.

And its up and running !
