ok this is cheap but will cause your car to get a little louder and you wont be able to pass any emissions if your state/county enforces one. just replace your whole midpipe and get a custom one made at any muffler shop (just some local one). Just get a strait pipe like 2.5" in diameter with NO CATS!!!!!!!!!!! cost like maybe $70-90 and gain like 10-13hp easily.
oh and always just be checkin the for sale section on here. you never know when you find a guy that just wants to get rid of something good he has and not charge much at all for it. ive seen things go for free on here to just whomever can go pick it up and get it out of thier garage!!! seriously!
yeah the obx header was going to be my next suggestion. its a good bang for the buck. give ya 8-10 hp for $230 new around $150 used. not too bad of a deal, its just takin out the cats is the cheapest.
if cats get removed it will be LOUD, and you will get black stuff shot out from the exhaust, not harmful to car in anyway but anything behind the car in about a 6 inch radius will get blasted

yeah but with keeping the mp3 exhaust (remember he said inexpensive not lets buy everythign now) its not gonna be ricer or HKS loud. i was just saying take cats out, not take cats out, add header, put in an hks exhaust. now THATS loud! hehehehhe
