removed for what?? Heat isn't an issue if thats what you mean. There is a video floating around of hand wedged between the compressor and the header and holding it there while the car is running with no problems.

Yeah go with the standard mods.

I have an auto also. With these mods I have a much peppier car.
Here's my mods:
CAI w/a DEI thermal intake blanket (charge stays nice and cool all the way to the TB)

it's a heat wrap you put around piping to keep heat out or in....in this case...out.

Not really. My TB is cool to the touch even after stop and go driving. It almost covers the entire CAI.

During the summer here is when it'll be worthless.

I was refering to the a/c compressor.

oh, yeah the AC compressor is gone...i added my own "special" air compressor!

yeah, it's not for everyone. I'm 6'3" 265lbs and live in AL where it's 95% humidity in the sumertime. I'm doing just fine!

I'm happy it worked for you. I would need about 200 Feet of it so for me, it would be a waste of money...
