Modified Mag---page 124

Great job man! What's up with Protege owners working at airports? I've worked at airports almost my whole working career man. I used to be an airline refuller at Baltimore's BWI airport... Too funny.

You know, its funny, whenever a car-mag gets their grimy paws on a Protege, they love it! Sport Compact Car said that the MSP was their new benchmark for how a FWD car should handle, REPLACING the Acura RSX. Also, they featured an MP3 vs a Lotus Elise and a bunch of other cars in a handling contest. Despite all that, I don't know why people don't like us...
 
because people care about numbers (HP usually, lord knows hondas make s*** for torque), and handling is much harder to quantify.

Now my favorite mag...Modified my suffer the same cost measures and decline its quality...start repeating articles found on their other titles and poof...now we only have Dsport as a true independent magazine and Super Crap to look up too. :)

Modified has always been my favorite too.

I for one am glad no one really likes the protege. Look at how many hondas get ripped off. I love that I don't have to really worry about my car being stolen for the parts etc.
 
Oh and I just got my mag waiting till I have to drop a deuce to read the article lol best and only reading time.

i don't see why this forum should get any credit for what vic did to his car.
 
If I had a mag feature I'd mention this forum.. because obviously I have bought and sold parts through here, I've received suggestions from here, etc... plus, if it wasn't for this forum I wouldn't have found protegegarage, crossover auto, stre3t unit (lawl), speed circuit, and all the other awesome vendors :)

edit: but I won't have a magazine feature.. because my car is a year round, salty and rusty daily driver that I just try my hardest to keep looking decent :)
 
riding on coat tails is all it seemed like from his post. perhaps i came off a lil stong at first
 
Whew...lots of reading...like I mentioned...I did give credit to everyone...including this forum, DFWmazdas, friends, family and shops...obviously the editors were more concerned with the shops I used and the people that actually touched the car. My wife asked me why her name didnt come out in the magazine!
 
Dood, i dont think me and this mag are meant to be. I went into 2 different mag shops.....the first shop didnt take credit cards, and i found out the second shop had a $20 minimum purchase w/ credit when i slapped your mag on the checkout. So no luck yet :(
 
Congrats Vic! Way to spread the word! I've never had a ride in a national mag, but I've been interviewed/published here and there and you're lucky if only two or three things get mangled/missqouted by the time it hits the rack.
 
Just picked the magazine up when I went grocery shopping. Sweet, I showed all my friends what potential the msp has.
