mm. vs inserts

Just installed the inserts yesterday and there are no noticeable vibrations. The inserts are definitely worth the 35 chucks.......A lot less wheel hop and improved shifting. Today I installed the shifter bushings. This is how the car should have been stock.

i ordered the inserts last night, so hopefully they get here soon, but i hope everyone is right about no vibrations, cause improved shifting with no vibes would be AMAZING

Was not able to get my inserts in over the weekend. Currently scheduled for the 10th of April.

so you guys saying you feel no vibes with the inserts, you are talking about at idle right? cause mm or inserts wont vibe durring driving.

WOW how many of us are doing this mm upgrade? rec'd CS inserts Sat. Will install this week. Has anyone like prothane or energy suspension offered a package yet? I will probably go with the stiffer full bushings down the road but the inserts are an effective mod for now.

Just ordered the corksport inserts! This will be my first official mod. Can't wait!! (cabpatch)

looks like mine are here, so i will install this weekend. I am really picky when it comes to vibes, so i will write a good review about the inserts

Whelp, I just installed the corksport inserts and here is my review:
There is an increase in vibrations, don't let someone tell you there isn't. Very little, but its there. Primarily in startup and if you ever lug the motor in rpm's, you'll notice. My wife has seemed to notice it but I have a feeling it was only after I had pointed it out.
Installation was pretty straight forward after you figured out what was what. The 3 bolt bracket is a must to remove. I also recommend an impact gun for removal. Not a simple task by hand, but doable I suppose.
All in all the car does feel more planted and solid. I would say it is worth the $40 and the time. It almost makes driving the car hard feel as though you're really not being as hard on it. Shifts are easier, motor is a bit more responsive.
Werd.

Nice. I've had mine laying around for 1 week now. So you didn't come across any problems? I've got an impact so I guess I'm set.

I have had the TRZ poly and the PTP solid race mount. I prefer the feel of the PTP. The vibes arent that bad. You notice it mostly when cruising at 3000 rpms. I say go for the full MM. The TRZ Poly is a nice piece that will put you right in the middle.

Don't wait no more. I just realized that the stock was not so good. Seems like everything on the car just got better with a cheap upgrade! Those little inserts are ok.

30 min at the most 10 is normal i changed my oil while i had the car up so it took a little longer.
