Missing my MS3 :(

Last week I was going to work like every other usual day. I stopped at a red light, went on MY green light and next thing I know it a truck is right in front of me and I hit him. I tried to brake but he was already too close to me. He passed HIS red light and I T-boned him. He parked his truck along the sidewalk, I tried to do the same but when I tried to start the car it wouldnt start. After I called the police I tried again and this time it did start but made alot of noises...eeek :/
So now the car is still at the bodyshop and an adjuster still hasnt gone to see the car cuz the other guys insurance is National Guarantee (worst insurance ever as my lawyer had told me). I have been going to the chiropractor since and just trying to figure out if im severly injured and if my car is repairable...I was going like 20-25mph and the other guy was going like 50-55mph..oh and my airbags didnt deploy..
I want my Mazda!! (sadbanana)

Thanks guys....and yea the police gave the other guy a citation. Mmm idk about the no fault state thing. How would it help me out in my case? So I can figure out about it...

well technically it WOULDNT help in your case lol. say if i were to T-bone someone in florida behind their B pillar, it would be my fault but each of our insurance would have to pay for the damages causing both out insurances to go up. A no fault state just means that whoever is at fault, it doesnt matter. because you pay for your damages no matter what. its so ******* retarded IMO, but thats how it works

Aahhh thank God i dont live in a no fault state..haha
Cuz Im not paying for anything to get my car fixed..the other guys insurance is paying for it...and if it get totaled they pay for it..and if im injured there paying for it. Or at least thats what my lawyer is gonna fight for.

Just a suggestion:

When your light turns green, look both ways before proceeding (i.e. don't assume that someone will not run a red light).

Yea thanks, now I look both ways to see if a car is coming or not. But I really could'nt even see if this car was coming towards me or not. There were cars turning left and going straight stopped at the red light and this guy came out of the far right lane. The other cars blocked me to not see him. Thanks for the suggestion, very appreciated!

from the looks of the pics, it looks mostly cosmetic. the noises you heard were probably bits of plastic components hitting the pulleys as the engine was running. did you get a pic under the hood? either way it sucks

Well im hoping that it was only cosmetics and not a total loss...and no i didnt get any pix from under the hood...but i did take a look and in the center of the hood where its bent was kinda against the intercooler. I dont know if it hit kinda hard or not..i hope everything is repairable cuz my lawyer already told me that if it is a total loss, the insurance pays whats worth of the car, the Gap insurance pays the rest and I just stay without a loan. I dont get no money what so ever for the car, if i would get money it would be because of my injuries but thats it. That sucks...

And I woke up in freakin pain today!! My neck and shoulders are killing me!! cant even turn or move my neck slightly cuz it hurts...im freakin getting some money out of the insurance cuz im jacked up...

dude there most likly gonna declaire it totaled because my older bro did the same thing and air bags never went off... i think it might be a defect. but yeah man. if your core support is f'ed then your most likly gonna be looking at a new speed. sorry to say. and sucks man hope your alright

That doesnt look totaled to me. Most likely they will fix it because it will be cheaper for the insurance co. than to buy you out.

Well this is my first accident and I'm really not all that familiar with the people I do and do not need. But yea now I know that I really dont need a Lawyer. I could've taken care of most of the things myself and of course my insurance taken care of all the billing.

Here's the new update pictures from the bodyshop last night. Doesnt look very pretty. Oh and the car is totaled. According to the adjuster its gonna be 11k to repair it. The bodyshop guy kept on insisting that they can fix it for 7,500 but under Carfax the title was gonna be salvage. He said it would'nt though. I trust the adjuster that does this for a living and knows if this car is safe to drive or not. I think the bodyshop just wants some money out of the car.
