i love the whole car, motor, kit, neons, and future rims only complaint, the grill lol but solid job and like u said, as long as your happy, thats all that counts. hope the back fitting goes well peace - chris
Really? Your the first person that ive seen so far say they dont like the grill --- on either my car or others. What is your opinion on the MB grill, if you have seen that one.
well i havent seen it in person, but personally, i like the autoexe grill becuase its clean and empty, but like someone commented, thats "riced" because a lot of hondas (civics, accords) have that style grill. but i say, u got the full mintblue kit, so hell , its bad ass with the matching lip n sides. i cant wait to see the finished product! peace - chris
It wasnt really "hard" but it took some effort due to the tight clearances of the front -- you hook one side into the wheel well and just pull and tug it across. The hard part is getting it to pop into the fog holes. There is no way to just slide it up from the bottom or straight on from the front. As for the sides, you need to remove the stock side skirts, take off the rear wheels, fit the piece, attach the front part and then drill 2 holes per side for the rear part of the skirt.
Nope ... for the front piece you take out the 2 screws in each wheel well that holds the wheel well shield to the bumper, pull it back and slide 2 metal clips over the bolt holes and lay the plastic back down. You then install the bumper (it comes predrilled and countersunk - you can see it in the one pic on the 1st page) and just bolt it up. The metal brackets have a nut welded to the back that holds it all in place. Great install.
The front will be even better for you too since you wont have holes in the bumper from the marker lights. If you pre-paint the piece and TAKE YOUR TIME you will be able to get the bumper on in like 30 mins w/o visibly scratching the paint. From the trial and error of getting it on my car we put a bunch of scratches in the paint but almost none are visible since the MB piece covers them. However, I still need to have the whole bumper repainted since I am doing body work to fill in the damn holes.
