mileage sucks????

i am around half a tank this time around and i have only driven like 125 miles........i used to get around 200 or so when i first got my car........i havent been driving hard or anything.........been grandma shifting.......no cel's have been thrown........anyone know what could be up

whens your oil change is due? I noticed on mine that if I go more then 3000 it gets lower, plus I get 235/tank, but I drive hard, anyhow, check the time/miles for oil change, also did u get the gas at the usuall gas station, sometimes that can be a problem,lower quality gas=less miles traveled

Change the air filter, the problem will go, it is normal for a car to burn ridiculous amouns of gas when the air filter is really dirty

it is time for an oil change..........maybe that will help........i doubt that my airfilter needs to be changed i only have like 7,000 miles on my car

Try Royal purple 5W20 oil, I swear by it. I drive 80 miles to and from work every day and I average about 32 to 33 mpg Highway when I combine with city driving on the weekends I average about 28. I've got an injen cai and magnaflow cat back exhaust on it. I just got back from a trip to Road Atlanta and averaged 30 mpg with an average speed of 80 mph. I also swapped out the transaxle fluid with Royal Purple 75W90 oil. For the first two or three oil changes you'll need to chaage it every 3000 to 5000 miles after that you can go about 10,000 to 12,000 miles betwenn changes. You'll feel the extra power you get after you change the oil. My car has 19,000 since I bought it in March 04 and it runs awesome. It's more expensive (about 5.00 a quart) than regualr or synthetic oil but once you try it you won't use anything else. I buy mine from a company call RPM www.rpmoil.com. I swear by this stuff (rockon)

Had the same problem, 19 MPG city/hwy driving (fast). Passed 5k it went up to 21 and now 8k it is doing 24 driving normally and 22 driving fast without AC. With AC it is 23 normal, 21 fast. Pretty normal I think. It is a 3HB full but navigation, no mods...

with car, i would say none. I'll try driving a constant 70 instead of a constand 90, and see how much mpg is effected, but i dont think it will be anything near stock.
I would say, if others werent getting 31-33mpg on the highway, i would give props to the ground system/voltage regulator for that, because thats the only mod i had on the car at the time iwas getting that kinda of mpg
